FREE FLOW
Free Flow is our pilot event, and our invitation to build something with you, not just for you.
This first edition centers on the theme "The Ground We Grow From": the soil we're from, literally and otherwise. Where we grew up, who raised us, the beliefs and traditions passed down to us, the things we've had to push through to get here.
The evening consists of two parts.
We start with the programmed part of the evening, guided by Amara, our host. She introduces the theme, and we sit with it together, thinking and talking it through. From that state of reflection, we move into guided writing, where Amara helps you translate your thoughts and feelings about the theme into poetry.
Then we move into the Free Flow itself, the part that makes this evening different from anything else. You move freely between sensation stations, each built around a different sense: touch, scent, sight (visual inspiration), sound (the live music running through the whole evening), and taste (the theme translated into the drinks and bites).
We come back together through a connection exercise, followed by a sharing circle, where everyone gets a chance to share something they made or felt during the evening. From there on out, the sharing circle flows into the jam session: stay or leave as you please, keep talking, keep connecting, keep writing, or grab the mic and jam. From that point on, the space and time is fully yours.

We advise you to come at 19.30H so you can settle down, have a drink and connect, before we get the program going. At 20.00H we really start.

Take bus 15 in the direction of “Station Zuid”. Ride 1 stop. Get off at “Bos en Lommerplein”
Quicker Route, longer walk:
At Amsterdam Sloterdijk, take metro 50 “Gein” or metro 51 “Centraal Station”. Ride 1 stop. Ge off at “De Vlugtlaan”. Walk 9 minutes.
Traveling from Amsterdam Centraal:
Take bus 21 “Geuzenveld De Sav.”. Ride 15 stops (20 mins). Get off at “Bos en Lommerplein”.
